Extensive coral bleaching has been discovered in 21 marine parks across Thailand, spanning the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, according to the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation. The department reported the issue arose between April and early June, significantly impacting marine life in these regions.

Thai banks to announce products for green business transition in Q3
Thai banks are expected to announce financial products that will support a transition to green business in the third quarter of this year, a deputy central bank governor said on Thursday. The central bank, however, has not set loan targets for banks, Ronadol Numnonda said at a business seminar.
Thailand needs more financing to help with the transition, as green and sustainably linked loans accounted for only 1.4% of total outstanding lending, while environmental, social and governance bonds made up 5% of outstanding bonds last year, he added. – Reuters
